A word from your dear old Uncle Hank

Crap on a stick, forgot this thing existed again. I'm currently working tonight at the Eclipse Cyber Cafe, the volunteer job mentioned in my previous entry. I'm also hosting the Karaoke Stage as my alter-ego "Uncle Hank". Thats my new nickname around here. It came about when one of my coworkers couldnt pronounce my last name.
I bought a new guitar last weekend. Its an Ovation Acoustic-Electric. It's pretty dern nice. I've also made arrangements with Devin Chaulk, the drummer from Haste The Day, to buy his drum set from him. He's getting a new one, and needs to make some space and some cash. pretty sweet deal. I may have to nix that deal tho. cuz i need to get a car. and i really can't afford to be spending that kind of money right now.
Right now, i'm kinda bummin, kuz i desperately need. to do one of two things:
Go bowling with a bunch of friends.
or
Throw someone across a room in a mosh pit.
I need a concert like a diabetic needs insulin. Haste The Day and Calico System came here to Colorado Springs a couple weeks ago, but i had to miss it cuz i had no car, and it was a workday so nobody wanted to go with me. I'm really itchin for a show right now.
There is a chance I may be able to come home for a few days in august. so there better be some good shows waitin for me there.
For now, i'm gonna go make myself a chai latte.
